How to avoid delays on I-64, I-66 and I-81
  • The next time road construction causes a lane closure or a delay on I-64, I-66 or I-81, find out about it fast. Just go to your My 511 Control Room and customize it to get all the information you need about the roads and routes you take every day. Here are some of the things you can do in your Control Room:
    • Sign Up for E-mail Alerts – receive real-time traffic alerts for whichever routes you want, sent directly to your mobile device
    • View Live Traffic Cameras – sometimes the best way to know what’s happening on the road ahead is to take a look for yourself
    • Get Road Conditions Updates – visit your customized page on a regular basis to find out when and where construction is taking place
    • Find an Alternate Route – if there’s a delay on your normal route, you can get help finding an alternate one
